The CVPCSD Board has submitted a formal Objection to the Placer County Planning Commission's and the Placer County Board of Supervisors proposed rezoning of lands and the City of Auburn's, Auburn Airport's proposed Rezoning (if this passes) for the Auburn Airport runway expansion project.

This will negatively impact Christian Valley Park's Air Space and Special District Rights as well as all other communities in its nearby spheres of Aircraft Overflight zones.

The Planning Commission's public hearing was held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 and was approved by the Commisioners vote of 4 to 1 to send it up to the Board of Supervisors for final approval.
